Michael Herklots
Michael Herklots has worked in the Premium Cigar Industry since 1999. Most recently he was Vice President of Nat Sherman International, responsible for creating and maintaining the company’s portfolio of premium cigars, pipe tobaccos and accessories, working closely with manufacturing partners in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras. He also oversaw Nat Sherman International’s flagship Townhouse retail store in New York City, as well as the global sales and distribution network for the company’s products. Prior to joining Nat Sherman in 2011, Herklots worked for the Swiss luxury company Davidoff of Geneva running retail operations in New York City for nine years. He is a Certified Master Tobacconist by Tobacconist University, a member of the board and teacher for the American Sommelier Association, and a contributing resource to the Young President’s Organization. Herklots holds a B.A. from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

Brendon Scott
Brendon Scott has worked in the Premium Cigar Industry since 2009. Most recently, Brendon was the Chief Financial Officer of Nat Sherman and assisted the Sherman family with the sale of their business to Altria in 2017. Brendon also helped lead the integration of Nat Sherman into an Altria operating company. Brendon is a CPA and started his career as an auditor for Price Waterhouse LLC. After obtaining an MBA at the University of Notre Dame, Brendon joined Ernst & Young LLC as a Senior Manager in their Transaction Support Group providing financial due diligence services to private equity and strategic clients. Brendon subsequently joined WR Huff Asset Management where his primary responsibilities included financial modeling, structuring, due diligence and portfolio monitoring. Brendon was a Partner in two of Huff’s private equity funds and served on the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies.
